TRIUMPH SPITFIRE 1500 RESTORATION

Dad always had an interest in old cars.....

Dad bought me this at 16 and my interest in classic cars began.

Completely rebuilt on my parent's driveway - a great learning experience.

A typical day in the garage

A difficult but ultimately a very rewarding restoration project

A cut down 1920's garage in the garden stood in as the first warehouse for ANG.

It was best described as 'compact'! with parts stacked head high. Was bitterly cold in winter!
How the company began
About Us
My interest in classic cars began in January 1990 when one evening my dad casually uttered the words
"I've bought you an old car...."
We went to collect the car from the seller and opened up a damp lock up where a 1966 Series 6 Singer gazelle was resting on flat tyres. The resurrection of this car, and the Inca Yellow Spitfire, was to occupy my spare time on and off for the next ten years, a greater education on restoring old cars could not be found as every aspect of classic car restoration was tackled and many useful skills were gained.
ANG Classic Car Parts was started over 5 years ago as a business by my brother and I. We both owned Triumphs
(and still do!) and restored them as a hobby in our
spare time and at weekends.
Initially operating out of our respective garages, garden sheds and spare rooms, the business steadily grew to where we were able to concentrate on the business full time. This has enabled us to expand the range of parts we could offer and move our operation to larger business premises.
To begin with, Triumph parts made up the majority of our stock, however, as time passed we have introduced many new product lines for other marques including MG, Rover, Austin, Jaguar, Morris, Lotus, Reliant and more.
Please visit our website today to see the wide range
of parts and useful kits we now have available at
competitive prices for your Triumph!
