Original Gearbox
This was restored and fitted to the car until an overdrive unit came along at the right price.
Gearbox refitted
A new three piece clutch and new clutch hydraulics were fitted at this point.
Gearbox out
Car was used for a while until a reconditioned gearbox was found (less OD unit) from Mike Papworth.
Assembled OD Gearbox
A serviceable overdrive unit was sourced at Stoneleigh Triumph Show and the whole assembly was treated to new parts where necessary.
Overdrive fitted
Complete unit was fitted to the car with no problems - just had to swap the gearlever.
New wiring Loom
Reverse light and inhibitor wiring was installed and tested.
